For the first time in model making, the spotlights are equipped with an integrated overtemperature protection.

Profiled high-performance spotlight with doubled efficiency 8Wx2 and very good beam angle through a special spreading cap. The luminaire is delivered as a ready assembled unit on an aluminium cooling plate and a changeable polycarbonate cap as covering. The luminaire is ready to use for 2S Lipo (ca. 8V) operation. With 3S (12V) operation, the enclosed resistor has to be used. Alternatively use a 8W-3S adapter cable.

Please note that high-performance LEDs can get very hot, up to 70°C is quite normal. These lamps with heatsink housings are suitable for continuous operation if an air flow (during flight) is possible. If this is not the case, the duty cycle of 5-10 minutes should not be exceeded. Please check operation temperatures after installation. In case of overheating, the integrated overtemperature switch will switch off or downsampling the luminaire.

The reference power is a comparison value between our offered lights. It normally refers to an operating voltage of 12V/3S Lipo and is dependent on bulbs, operating mode and technology.

Pay always attention to the operating temperature, we do not assume any warranty in case of overheating.

Note: The LED lights are extremely bright! Never look directly into a LED!
