Description
The fourth generation of RAY batteries retains the advantages of popular second-generation sets: a 30C discharging current, a fast 2C charging capability, a 350-3250 mAh capacity range that reliably covers recreational modeling needs and excellent long-term service life.
RAY G4 Lithium Polymeric Batteries with a current rating of up to 30C are designed for common applications in recreational and sporting aircraft models for both classic and 3D acrobatics. The high current load capacity ensures maximum utilization of the engine power and allows a fairly robust flying style while maintaining a very good long-term service life.
Do not charge RAY G4 accumulators with a current greater than 2C, we recommend using currents in the range of 1-2C for normal operation. We recommend using balancer every time you charge. RAY G4 batteries do not require initial molding, but if you want to charge the kits with a current greater than 1C, we recommend that you do not exceed 1C for the first three charging cycles. There is no need to discharge it before charging - for example, you can safely charge 50% discharged batteries.
The kit is delivered in the "Air Pack" design, designed primarily to drive aircraft and helicopter models. It is provided with silicone power (charge) cables with a cross section dimensioned with respect to the assumed current load (without connectors). The service connector of the standard JST-EH system is small in size and light weight (which is particularly appreciated by users of small capacity sets), has simple wiring connections and can even be connected directly to the balancer sockets on the RAYTRONIC chargers (but also Robbe and Graupner) without using any adapter.
